Driving back from L.’s middle school graduation (she wore a totally cute new wave tie and looked super happy) I could see the flames from the 110, which if you aren’t in LA, means the flames were huge. Smoke covered a lot of our house for the evening.

None of it, at any time, reminded me of Mick Jagger. But we are all safe and the hills appear to be fire-free for the most part.  With the crazy hot weather and the drought this is going to be a rattlesnake and fire season like no other.  Fun!  My favorite two things to worry about.
