Sara and Aram… That Just Happened!

Sara Schacter, Aram Erenburg

Sara Ann Schacter and Aram Lee Erenburg were married Saturday at Stage 6 at Steiner Studios in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Robert J. Berson, the leader of the Ethical Culture Society of Northern Westchester, officiated.

The bride, 33, is a job placement supervisor for YAI/National Institute for People With Disabilities in Manhattan. She graduated from New York University and received a master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling from Hunter College.

She is a daughter of Dr. Lee P. Schacter of Wilmington, Del., and the late Bernice Z. Schacter. Her father, an oncologist, consults with pharmaceutical companies in the development of cancer drugs. Until 2000, he was an associate director of the Yale Cancer Center. Her mother taught immunology and biology at the University of Delaware and worked at BioTransplant in Boston.

The bridegroom, 37, is a senior associate at the Manhattan law firm Kucker & Bruh, where he specializes in real estate litigation. He graduated from the University of Michigan and the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University.

He is the son of Mary Erenburg and Steven A. Erenburg of Millburn, N.J. His father retired as the director of corporate communications for ITT Corporation, the conglomerate; he worked in Manhattan.
